Bress

Nathan Bress is a partner of Pratt, Bator & Popov, LLP. He is also Trust Counsel to Nichols & Pratt, LLP, a Boston private trustee office.

Nathan is a graduate of McGill University, where he majored in English literature, and Boston College Law School. He is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association. He serves on the BBA Trusts and Estates Section New Developments Committee, and has been a presenter at its annual Mid-Year Review.  He is a co-author of the chapters Trusts for Minors (in Drafting Irrevocable Trusts in Massachusetts) and Discretionary Distributions of Principal in Trusts (in Drafting Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts), both published by MCLE.

Prior to law school, he worked in the publishing industry as a managing editor and graphic designer for a group of peer-reviewed biomedical journals.

Originally from Upstate New York, he now lives in Medford with his wife and their two children.  In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking and metalworking, cooking, Scrabble, and slowly restoring his 1885 Queen Anne house.
